Deanna Dewell has made a community practice of health and wellness for herself, her family and her clients. Over the years, she's become as blessed by them as they are by her skills and guidance.

She received her Bachelor's degree from UW, Seattle in Psychology and Music 1998. She worked in Japan and Australia, then moved to Tanzania in 1999 to be a baboon researcher. By 2002, she owned a swim school, taught at Dar es Salaam's International School, married and birthed her first son. She then earned her BSc: Physiotherapy from WITS in Johannesburg, South Africa 2010 whilst birthing 3 more lovely kids.

Back in the USA, on Bainbridge Island, she now raises her four children in a forest home. After working for New Motion PT on Bainbridge for 7 years, she then established her own practice, Heal in Motion PT in 2017. Deanna independently developed a highly successful Aqua PT rehab program which has helped hundreds of clients since 2011. Her passion for Pilates led her to certification with world renowned BASI faculty and she finds both teaching and practicing the key to her faster triathlon times and more recent Figure Competition strength and shape.
